CF-L2

I spent a summer waitressing next door to a CrossFit gym. Every shift I'd walk in hearing barbells drop, music up, people sprinting out the front door. I was curious enough that I finally walked in myself. That was the start.

I trained at CrossFit Beverly for two years, earned my CF-L1, and coached for a year before eventually finding my way to Arnold CrossFit. I hold my CF-L2 and bring a genuine obsession with movement quality to every class.

What I love most about coaching is the moment something clicks. A cue lands, a progression finally makes sense, and you can see it on an athlete's face before they even say anything. That moment never gets old and it's exactly why I keep showing up.

My favorite moment as an athlete? My first bar muscle up. I got it after class with some of my closest friends and coaches watching, caught it on video, and the look on everyone's faces is something I still think about. That's CrossFit.

Originally from Chicago, I moved to St. Louis to finish school and now work as a Toxic Tort attorney. Outside the gym and the courtroom I'm coaching the WashU Mock Trial team, reading sci-fi, or planning the next trip somewhere new.
